Cold clear morning today. Started hiking the Mt. Scott Service Road Trail this morning at 6:45am. Hiked 6.04 miles in 2 hours and 4 minutes. I did not see any big game animals but the ducks and Hunters were thick at Ellsworth lake. Heard a lot of shotgun blast starting at daylight. Did see a runner and two walkers on my way back to the trail head. No cars parked at the trailhead so they must nave been going the 5.5 miles to the west trailhead so someone could pick them up. Feet are doing better but sure o stiffen up a lot by the time I get home... Weather during hike:
Clear Start Temp: 31 End Temp: 36 Windchill: 25 (lowest recorded during hike)
