Started hiking the Mt. Scott Service Road Trail this morning at 6:55am. Hiked 6.10 miles in 2 hour and 07 minutes. I started off my hike in the dark and saw several shadows moving across the path in front of me. These were ghostly figures moving very quickly across my path. I couldn't make out what they were until I saw the tell, tell sign of a white flag waving back at me... The sure sign of a whitetail deer. It is amazing how fast and quiet they can move through the forest.... I saw several other deer later on down the trail. Today also marks the milestone of 102 miles hiked in the 45 Day Challenge.... Weather during hike:
Cloudy Start Temp: 40 End Temp: 39 Windchill: 33 (lowest recorded during hike)
