I hiked 2 hours and 07 moving minutes and logged 5.41 miles of trail on a very very windy and cool morning. I started my hike at 6:00am. I used my headlamp with the red light for the first third of my hike. The moon was bright and I could see but the head lamp filled in the shadows and let me avoid rocks, holes and tree roots. In other words it helped me keep from busting my ass.... Not many animals out today. The wind had everything laid down this morning. I did see a Bison and a few White Tail Deer toward the end of the hike. The wind was strong enough that I was unable to keep my hat on and it almost blew me off my feet a few times. No other hikers on the trail while I was out. Weather during hike:
WINDY WINDY WINDY Start Temp: 51 (Wind Chill: 38) End Temp: 48 Wind Gust: 52
