Started hiking the Mt. Scott Service Road Trail this morning at 6:35 am. Hiked 6.23 miles in 2 hours and 04 minutes. Damp this morning. Forecast says rain. Quite with no wind. Songbirds were loud and I saw a cedar tree that split a large rock. The forest has a tremendous amount of healing power over me. It is no surprise that its power exceeds that of a bolder..... Another milestone today. The 45-Day Challenge has racked up 200.84 miles of trail so far and I have lost 29 pounds..... Weather during hike:
Cloudy/Mist (wet) Start Temp: 41 End Temp: 38 Windchill: 32 (lowest recorded during hike)
